Forum: Data Corrections Posted: Tue Apr 06, 2021 3:01 pm Subject: 42-65406 vs AK987 |
Somehow these two profiles got linked. I just made the 42-65406 profile and it came up as already being AK987. Two entirely different types, two entirely different s/n and c/n so I don't get it. They ... |

I think it is not a good idea to have two or more posts on the same plane just because they are in different squadrons. E.g. 168886 has been in VFA-122 and VFA-113. So you have a profile for each. T ... |

I started a 2nd profile for a new aircraft, only to discover these two are the same aircraft only the 2nd is a total rebuild! The FAA even has a separate type and s/n for the plane, so it becomes two ... |

This profile needs to be deleted. The correct number is 92-13121 and all photos have been moved to that profile. |

These two airframes can be connected. The aircraft was registered to the USAF as N8079B temporarily while it was undergoing avionics testing in 2006 with Rockwell-Collins at Cedar Rapids, IA. I don' ... |

There are two profiles for this aircraft, and should be combined as the NC-141A. While it was constructed in 1963 as a C-141A, it was used in test programs its whole career, originally being redesign ... |

Forum: Data Corrections Posted: Tue Aug 28, 2018 6:57 pm Subject: C-131D 55-0292 |
The profile for this has errors, most likely due to some confusion with the c/n. The USAF s/n 55-0292 was originally assigned to the airframe c/n 218, but that was not taken up. Instead, s/n 55-0292 ... |
